Adding a client - Pacten Guides

Marketing → Clients lists everyone you share work with: what they sent and what they are waiting on. Press New client to add one. The sheet is called Add a client, and it makes the record and nothing else. Nothing is emailed or texted.

1
Find them first
Under Find them search your CRM. Pick a match and the fields fill in from the CRM record and lock. Press Edit to unlock them. Not there? Fill the record and it is made in Clients and the CRM at once. A workspace with no CRM searches its clients instead.
2
Fill the record
Name, email, phone with the country code, company, role, tags and notes.
3
Save
The client’s own page opens. That is where the next steps are.
ON THE CLIENT PAGE
What you do from there
The page is built around their work.

On the Clients list, the Needs you filter shows who is waiting on you. The tiles above count Waiting on you, Never opened and Closing soon.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a client in Marketing?
Open Marketing then Clients and press New client. Search your CRM first, then fill in the record and save.
Does adding a client email them?
No. The sheet makes the record only. You share a folder with them as a separate step from their page.
Why is my client not in the For list on a new post?
The list shows client buckets. Open the client's page and make one under Content buckets with New bucket.
Is a client the same as a CRM contact?
A client is a record in Marketing that is also made in your CRM when you have one. Picking an existing CRM contact fills the sheet from it.
