How claiming a lead works - Pacten Guides
New leads are not shared out to people. They arrive unclaimed, and whoever gets to one first takes it — which means there is never a lead sitting with somebody who is away, and never a queue waiting on one person to distribute it.
Open any lead and, if nobody has taken it yet, the first thing on the page is Claim this lead. Pressing it makes the lead yours and starts the response clock.
If you want somebody else to take it instead, you can hand it to them from the same place rather than claiming it yourself.
Who sees what
Owners and admins see every lead in the workspace. Everybody else sees the leads that are theirs, plus anything still unclaimed — so there is always something to pick up, and nobody is reading through other people's work.
That is also why an empty-looking pipeline is not always an empty pipeline: if everything has been claimed by other people, there is nothing left for you to see. Ask an admin if you think something is missing.
