Reports and Performance: reading the numbers - Pacten Guides
Marketing has two pages for numbers. Reports reads your published posts and your ad spend. Performance reads your own booking record. Both are under Marketing in the rail.
REPORTS
Posts, networks and spend
Pick the range at the top: 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
- Overview. Organic social at a glance: posts published, views, engagement and comments, each compared with the period before. Below it, ad spend and any campaigns running. Record spend lets you type in what you spent on an ad channel for a day.
- Networks. Every network side by side. A network with no post in the range says so.
- Posts. Your top posts in the range.
- Pipeline. A fourth tab that appears only when the Close add-on is on.
PERFORMANCE
Measured on your own booking record
Not what a platform claims.
- Hub visits, Leads, Bookings and Collected revenue. Counted from your own hub, bookings and verified payments.
- Ad spend and True ROAS. Read from the spend you have recorded. With no spend recorded, it says Needs spend rather than showing a zero. The range buttons are 7D, 30D and 90D.
- Funnel. Hub to booked, stage by stage.
- Tracking health. Whether each tracking channel is connected, set up under Web Presence.
- By source. Where visits came from.
A number that is blank
Reports shows a dash and not a zero when a network has not reported yet. Networks report within a day, and YouTube takes 24 to 48 hours.
Frequently asked questions
- Where do I see how my posts did?
- Open Marketing then Reports. Overview has the totals and Posts lists your top posts. For one post, open it in Posts and look at How it did on the Published stage.
- Why does ROAS say Needs spend?
- Performance only shows return on ad spend once there is spend to divide by. Record your spend on Reports and it fills in.
- Why are my numbers a dash?
- The network has not reported yet. Networks report within a day, and YouTube can take 24 to 48 hours.
- Where is the Pipeline tab?
- It appears on Reports only when the Close add-on is on. Without it the tab is not shown.
