Running the attendance day - Pacten Guides
The workspace-wide attendance view lives under People → Time & Leave → Attendance (and the same card appears on the Attendance page as “Everyone, today” for anyone who may view team attendance). It is a roll call: everyone in the workforce, one row each.
THE COUNTS
Read the day in one line
On the clock · clocked out · not in yet — the three numbers always add up to your roster.
1
Search and filter
The search box matches names across every group. Chips filter to On the clock, Clocked out, Not in yet, Flagged (stale or off-site sessions), and No location — one tap to see everyone clocking without location verification.
2
Read the location verdict
Each session carries a badge: ✓ on site with the distance, ⚠ off site with the distance and an approximate area name, or no location when the device offered none. Hover any badge for what it means and what to change.
3
End a forgotten shift
A session open for many hours is flagged “likely forgotten”. Clock out… on the row ends it after a confirm — the record is marked as a correction with your name, and it lands in the activity trail. It never passes as self-reported.
4
Remind who is not in
Every not-in-yet row has a Remind button: a real email (“You haven’t clocked in yet” with a clock-in button) plus an in-app notification. Once per person per day — a second tap tells you when the first went. Remind all unreminded does the whole list.
Who can be reminded
Rows show reachability honestly: no login and no email on file tags mean the button says “can’t remind” instead of failing silently. Add an email to their record to make them reachable.
One person’s whole history
Click any name to open their record — the Attendance tab on their profile shows every session with durations, sites, verdicts and totals over 7, 30 or 90 days.
