Setting your availability - Pacten Guides

Two dials control what a client can book: when you work (Calendar → Availability) and what each service allows (Booking → the service → Availability). Clients always see the result in their own timezone.

1
Create a schedule
Under Calendar → Availability, create a named schedule and give it availability windows — the days and hours you take bookings, in your timezone. A new schedule starts as Monday–Friday, 9 to 5; shape it from there.
2
Assign it to services
A schedule gates nothing until a service uses it — the card warns you when none do. Open Booking → the service → Availability and pick the schedule there. Each service follows one schedule; the service’s own duration sets the slot length.
3
Set the horizon
Minimum notice (how close to now someone may book) and the booking window (how far ahead) have workspace defaults on the Availability page, and any service can override them. Out of the box: 1 hour’s notice, 30 days ahead.
4
Block time off
Exceptions are blocks, not schedule edits: click a day on the Calendar and choose Block Time — a personal block or time off removes those public slots (the preview shows exactly how many), while an internal event never touches public availability.
Connect Google Calendar
From the Calendar header, connect Google Calendar. Busy events then block public slots automatically (allow a few minutes for a brand-new event to disappear from the booking page), and confirmed bookings, reschedules and cancellations appear in Google. Outlook sync is not available yet.
Why a slot is not showing
A time is offered only if it is inside an assigned schedule’s windows, respects the notice and window rules, and is clear of blocks, Google busy events and existing bookings — a booked meeting blocks that time across all services. If two people race for the same slot, the second is asked to pick again; double booking is refused at the database itself.
