Pacten

What Pacten captures on every call — Pacten Guides

A call placed with Pacten leaves a record. Some of it arrives on its own; the rest is the wrap-up card, and only you can fill that in. This is what separates “I called them” from a call anyone else can pick up later.

AUTOMATIC
What arrives on its own
About a minute after the call ends.

The wrap-up card shows you where it has got to — “Saving recording…”, then “Transcribing…”, then “Recording, transcript & summary ready” — read from the real state of the call, not a timer.

Watch out
“Call from my phone” calls are not recorded and get none of the above. Neither does a number dialled from your own handset outside Pacten.
YOURS TO ADD
The wrap-up card
The only moment you still remember the detail.

When the call ends, the wrap-up card appears. Fill it in before you move on — it is what everyone else sees afterwards.

Watch out
“Do not call” is a standing instruction, not a note about this one call — it also flags the contact so nobody dials them again. In the US and Canada that request is legally binding, so record it here rather than relying on anyone remembering.
WHY SEPARATE
Outcome and stage are not the same thing
One describes the call. The other moves the person.

The outcome records what the call was. The stage moves the person, and only when you pick it. Pacten will not infer one from the other — your pipeline stages are yours and are named differently in every workspace, so a chip marked “Good fit” must never quietly move someone into a stage you did not choose.

WHERE IT LANDS
Where it all ends up
Two places, both without you doing anything.
Something not working?
Nothing ringing, no audio, missing recordings — the short list.
