Your Business, Inside Claude and ChatGPT
Pacten now works inside Claude and ChatGPT. Connect it once and you can ask about your clients, money, posts and deadlines in the chat you already use, then have Pacten do the work: book the call, draft the invoice, send the contract for signature. Pacten prepares every change, shows you exactly what will happen, and does nothing until you say yes.
The problem: ten tabs, and an AI that can only talk
Most small teams already use an AI chat every day. It writes the email, tidies the proposal and suggests the caption. Then the real work starts somewhere else.
- The answers are spread across tabs. Who owes you money is in one place, who replied is in another, and what is going out on social is in a third. Getting a straight answer means opening all of them.
- You paste client data into the chat. To get help with a reply, you copy the client's thread in. To get help with a reminder, you copy the invoice in. Then you copy the answer back out, by hand.
- The AI can talk, but it cannot do anything. It writes a perfect reminder, and you still have to find the invoice, open the email, paste it and send it.
- And there is a quiet worry about what it can see. Once a tool can reach your business, who decides what it reads, and what it is allowed to change?
What changes: ask, then do
With Pacten connected, the chat reads from the same record your team works from. You stop pasting and start asking.
Things you can ask:
- "Who owes us money, and who is furthest overdue?"
- "Which client conversations are waiting on us?"
- "Who still has to sign the Harlow & Vance contract?"
- "What's going out on social this week?"
- "Which new leads haven't been contacted yet?"
Things you can have done:
- "Remind everyone more than 30 days overdue." Pacten gets one email ready per invoice, with the amount, the due date and a pay link.
- "Add Dana from Brightline as a lead." If Dana is already in your CRM, Pacten says so and points you to that record instead of making a duplicate.
- "Book a call with Okafor Logistics next Tuesday at 2." If that time clashes with your calendar, Pacten asks before booking. It never guesses.
- "Design Thursday's post and schedule it for 9 AM." Your AI app writes the caption and designs the images, and Pacten schedules the post to your connected channels. It never posts on the spot.
- "Draft a reply to the Okafor thread." The reply waits, unsent, in the conversation's reply box for you to read and send.
- "Send this contract for signature." The preview names every signer and the address their link goes to.
These are all real tools in the connector today. The full list, app by app, is on the Pacten MCP page.
How a change happens
Every change takes the same four steps.
- You ask, in your own words.
- Pacten prepares it. It checks your access and shows a preview: who, what, when, and what will happen.
- You say yes. Or you don't, and nothing happens.
- It is done, and on the record. The change is logged in your workspace's activity, marked "via Claude" or "via ChatGPT", so your team can see what was done and by whom.
A prepared change expires after 15 minutes. If something moves in the meantime, such as a signer being changed, a document being edited or a scheduled time passing, Pacten refuses and asks you to prepare it again. What you said yes to is what happens.
Your access, never more
The connection signs in as you. It sees what you can see in Pacten, and nothing else.
- Same permissions as the app. If your role cannot see invoices in Pacten, Claude cannot see them either. Viewers can ask questions but cannot make changes.
- Off until an admin turns it on. A workspace owner or admin switches AI connections on in Settings, and chooses how far they go: reading only, drafts, or changes. They can also turn it off for one person.
- Your own sign-in. Before you allow it, Pacten shows which of your workspaces the AI app will reach. You can disconnect at any time.
- Every change is logged, with the AI app's name on it.
What it will never do
- Take or move money. It can get an invoice or a reminder ready, with a pay link. Money only moves when your client pays.
- Sign anything on your behalf. Signing links go to each signer by email. They never come back into the chat.
- Change who has access to your workspace.
- Act without your yes. Every change waits for you to confirm it.
For teams in Europe
Pacten prices its plans in euros for teams in the euro area, and bills in euros. Inside Pacten, you can invoice your own clients in euros too: a draft invoice uses your workspace's currency unless you name another one.
Times are always your workspace's own time zone. When you schedule a post or book a meeting, the preview names the time zone, so a team in Lisbon and a client in Rotterdam are never an hour apart by accident.
Your data is stored in the United States. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including transfers outside Europe. VAT returns stay with your accountant: Pacten keeps the day-to-day books and sits alongside your accounting software, not in place of it.
Get connected
Setup takes about two minutes. The step-by-step setup page has a picture of each step in Claude and in ChatGPT, and the written guide covers the same steps with fixes for common problems. It is included on every plan.
Frequently asked questions
- Which AI apps work with Pacten?
- Claude and ChatGPT, and other AI apps that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in. You add Pacten once and sign in with your own Pacten account.
- Can Claude or ChatGPT see things I can't see in Pacten?
- No. The connection uses your own sign-in and your own permissions, so it sees exactly what you see in Pacten, and only in workspaces where an owner or admin has turned AI connections on.
- Will it send or change anything without asking me?
- No. Pacten prepares each change and shows you a preview first. The change only happens when you confirm it, and it is logged in your workspace as done via Claude or via ChatGPT.
- Does it cost extra?
- It is included on every plan. Using Pacten in Claude or ChatGPT uses your workspace's AI credits, and owners can see where they went in Billing.
- Can my team in Europe pay in euros?
- Yes. Pacten prices and bills its plans in euros for teams in the euro area, and you can invoice your own clients in euros from Pacten too.
